Heat-resistant fireplace glass

Fireplace glass is a special type of heat-resistant glass ceramic.

This transparent sinter with a glass-like appearance is characterized by high temperature resistance and low thermal expansion.
The temperature resistance of regular, tempered building glass is up to 260°C.

Heat-resistant glass, on the other hand, withstands thermal stress up to almost 800°C, thanks to which it can be used for fireplace doors and windows in wood or coal-fired stoves.

Apart from standard ROBAX glass, we also offer ROBAX ENERGY PLUS glass. Thanks to the innovative coating, up to 35% of thermal radiation is reflected inside the fireplace, improving the combustion process. The additional energy obtained this way can increase, for example, the efficiency of the water heating jacket.

The higher temperature also contributes to the optimal use of the thermal energy from the wood and less soiling of the panel (by burning the soot).
